The Relationship Between Rahel and Estha in The God of Small Things
This paper discusses the importance of the twins, Rahel and Estha, in the novel The God of Small Things. The novel is seen through the eyes of the twins as children in one story arc and through the eyes of the adult Rahel in another. The twins' action (or at least lack of action) leads to the loss of their relationship, while coming together to face their demons restores the bond they once had.
