The following paper will evaluate an experience that involved wearing a pink triangle pin, which serves as a symbol of gay and lesbian rights and freedoms in modern society. This exercise was conducted in order to better understand what is experienced by those not in stereotypical groups on a regular basis. This experience has taught me that there are a number of challenges that gays and lesbians face in their efforts to establish freedom.
