Survey of Research Methods: Assessment and Critique of a Quantitative Dissertation
This paper addresses the methodology found in Smiths (2002) dissertation Leadership Style Preferences of Haitian Physicians and American Physicians with Experience Providing Medical Care in Haiti: A Comparative Analysis. Through doing so, the effectiveness of the research methods chosen is critically examined in terms of their appropriateness for the setting in question, as well as their effectiveness in application.
