Water COnflicts in the Middle East: Studying Political Situations with the Nile
This is a proposal for a thesis on the Nile River and water scarcity. The Nile River is characterized by dispute over its resources, and experts strongly argue that these conditions will worsen in the next few decades. Through contrasting "common pool theory" and "bargaining theory", the nature of policymaking in regards to the Nile is critically examined.
