This paper examines five different methods for approaching urban planning design and theory. In brief it describes the pros and cons of each methodology and applies it to a particular case study that was chosen. In this case, the paper discusses the relevance of each method in dealing with the unique cultural and logistical dilemmas associated with funerary arrangements in Hong Kong.
