This paper discusses the parallelisms drawn between Samson and Jesus Christ. First, Samson's was the fourth of the seven miraculous births in the Bible and in the servant lamp position (Taylor), for which he was called "sunny" or "sun hero", proving his fitness for the position. This compares with Chapter 1 of the Revelations, which describes Jesus Christ as in the servant lamp position and "standing in the midst of seven golden lamps."
