This paper answers two questions about evil, the first using the film "Training Day" and the idea of Jean-Jacques Rousseau about social corruption to discuss how evil is reflected by both, and the second a consideration of the theodicy of Job as an explanation of human suffering and the existence of evil in a world created by an omnipotent and perfect God.
