This paper encompasses a discussion of types of relationships. Specifically it examines relationship from the books Amazon Journey by Dennis Werner and To the Mountain and Back by Jody Glittenberg. The relationships examined are the relationship of men to women and the relationship of older to younger people. Interactions and other behaviors will be investigated along with the authors interpretations of the relationships.
