Lifestyle Prescription for Productivity and Enjoyment: Setting Personal Goals and Devising Strategies to Achieve Them.
This paper will define a set of goals and sub-goals, together with the cognitive and concrete strategies to render these goals a reality. The goals, sub-goals and strategies will be presented in parallel, with time as the main heading. Recognizing the fact that the human condition, and our roles as actors within a specific socio-economic context, imposes limits upon possible goals, the set defined here will be limited to four. It is important to note that, within each time frame, the four goals are prioritized in terms of importance within that particular span of time. As well, given the limits of human prescience, the goals and strategies in the short-term will be more detailed than those in the long-term. Moreover, these priorities will change from one time-frame to the next in response to predicted changes in life circumstances. The time-frames will be presented along a continuum from short-term (e.g. graduation) to long-term (e.g. middle age). 12 pgs. Bibliography lists 2 sources.
