This paper encompasses a discussion of the theories of human development. More specifically the developmental theory of Empiricism will be investigated and summarized. This paper includes an examination of the theories of John Locke and David Hume and their tenets and theories of human development. The theories as an exogenous paradigm are examined. In addition the contributions of Hume and Locke to modern thought on human developmental behavior are presented.
