This paper is a discussion of the findings in a research article entitled "Childhood history of anxiety disorders among adults with social phobias: Rates, correlates, and comparisons with patients with panic disorder," showing the connections between childhood anxiety disorders and similar social fears among adults, including adults with panic disorders.
