Her husband took her to the nearest hospital that was privately owned. They asked for insurance papers and the couple stated that they did not have insurance, because his work did not provide insurance for the family. The couple sat in the waiting room for over three hours to see the doctor. Finally, the husband asked why they had not been seen because several people had been seen with less weight time. They were told that they probably would not get service because they did not have any insurance. The young couple left to go to another hospital, but on the way the young woman died from a busted gallbladder.
