This paper is a literature review of current article regarding endotracheal suctioning. Current trends, procedures, research and issues are examined in the journal articles chosen. Additionally, journal articles addressing normal saline instillation pre and post oxygenation and hyperinflation have been chosen and reviewed for the literature review.
