Forgiveness and Peace in Death in Wuthering Heights .
This undergraduate level paper is an exploration of the observation by Lockwood, in Emily Bronte's, Wuthering Heights, that the dead lie in peace. It takes the position that in ordinary cases, the dead who return as ghosts in Gothic literature are disturbed and unforgiven souls. Yet, in the case of Heathcliff and Catherine, their love has allowed them to be both unforgiven and happy together on Earth. 3 pgs. Bibliography lists 1 source.
