Time, Innovation and Reading Geography: The Case of Nigeria.
This paper examines geographical influences, particularly colonialism's impact, in the history and literature of Nigeria. The state of Nigeria is a European geographical concept imposed on African reality. This dissonance is revealed in the both the country's colonial past and its present dysfunction.
