This essay is aimed at discussing the Coase Theorem proposed by Ronald Coase and its contribution to U.S. Environmental POlicy. The paper covers such aspects as the definition of the theorem, its practical application, evaluation of the principal points and some other issues, connected with pollution in the United States and the ways to decrease it.
