This seven-page paper compares four similarities in two works by famed English author Sylvia Townsend Warner. "The Phoenix" and the "Lolly Willowes" are held against each other for the purpose of comparing and contrasting. Out of the two works four similarities are chosen and examined by the author of this paper. The paper incorporates quotes as well as open discussion to make its point.
