Conflict, Community, and Family In Two Contemporary Novels.
This paper compares 2 novels, Marrying Mom by Olivia Goldsmith, and Angel Flight by Jennifer Sinclair. They are popular novels about relationships, and the paper concentrates on comparing how they create and address conflict. Although the novels do not share many overt elements, they do share a political conflict style common to both rural town-hall negotiation and family dinners. 5 pgs. Bibliography lists 2 sources.
