The Creation and History of the Bank of Canada: An Overview and Comparison.
This paper investigates the history of the Bank of Canada in terms of its creation, policies, and past and present operations. This paper also compares and contrasts the history and origins of the Bank of Canada against its American counterpart, the Federal Reserve (FED), as well the current operations of both institutions. In doing so, the reader achieves a better understanding of how and why the modern government- secured financial system was established in Canada, and how this country has been affected by this system.
