This paper shall examine the effect that recent globalization-induced pieces of legislation in Canada have had upon the apparel industry as well as business in general in Canada. In the end, the paper will argue that Canadian workers are receiving the most negative consequences from globalization. While industries in the nation might not fail, that continued success will be at the expense of tens of thousands of workers who lose their jobs as manufacturing positions are shipped overseas.
