This paper discusses Nike and issues regarding multinational operations. Operating on very large scales on a multinational scale could lead to problems as well. The local competitors could be shut down, and hence a large number of jobs can be lost. Also, when the company shifts its productions abroad, the company would have to make a large number of workers redundant in its home country.
