This paper discusses the effects on the individual of the process of globalization over the next few years, indicating how many changes have already taken place and how people are already affected, from the loss of jobs to the creation of new jobs, from threats to religion and culture around the world, to the rise of terrorism as a response and the changes that that particular threat has created.
