This paper is a discussion of the epidemiology of smallpox. Several aspects are examined. These areas include vaccination, bioterrorism, disease reduction and elimination. Smallpox concerns and issues are presented at local state and national levels as well. An overall discussion of the epidemiology of smallpox is the focus of the discussion of the paper.
