This 25-page-paper will take the reader on a detailed journey through the management philosophies of famed business tycoon W. Edwards Deming. Deming , touted as the "Father Of Quality", spent his life designing and teaching businesses how to increase productivity as well as cut losses. He is most famous for the advice he gave to Japanese business tycoons, which increased the productivity enough to make them a number one rival in the international car manufacturing industry. Deming is noted for his 14-point business plan that outlines managements role and duties in the operations of large companies with large numbers of personnel, however the plan can be adapted to any size business. He also has a philosophy of knowledge outline for businesses that will also be discussed in detail here. The author will present an overview of the plans Deming designed for business success as well as examine Deming's life and accomplishments.
