Addressing the Chinese Myth as a Source of Cultural Awareness and an Understanding of the Natural World.
This paper demonstrates how the myths of China apply to Birrell's argument, where the mythology of the country is not essentially "myth" but also incorporates elements of historical and cultural events. Because of this combination of fantasy and history, the myths of China therefore present the Chinese point of view into humanity, nature, and the intersection of these two forces.
