This paper will compare and contrast Goya's: Don Pedro, Duque De Osuna with the artist Ingres: 'The Comtesse D'Haussonville. The stylistic impressions, and the painting style will be examined to give a better understanding of the way that Goya painted these pictures. The commissioners for the paintings will also be discussed and will illuminate how they were funded and why.
