This paper explains the relationships between globalization and the Cold War. Early globalization in the form of international trade emerged as an economic necessity. During the Cold War period, this became fragmented due to regulated trade policies and politics of alliance. The end of Cold War replaced the tradition of political alliance with global partnership and triggered the current process of globalization.
